I had some great news yesterday I thought I'd share with you all. My shifters' Haven series will soon be released in print. I think I'm more excited about that than I was when Luke's Surprise, the first book in the series was released on e-book. It's funny how those few bits of paper glued together can have so much power over me, making me feel more like a real author than I did before, especially considering paperback sales are in decline and e-books are undoubtedly the way forward, but there it is. It might be because e-books are just a page on a computer screen or an e-reader but a paperback is something physical I can hold in my hand and say, I wrote that. Or it could simply be because I was brought up reading paperback novels and spent a great many years of my life telling myself I'd one day hold a book with my name on the cover.
Okay, well that's all my news for now folks, must get back to the writing. Talk to you all later.

Inspiration
Book four in my Shifters' Haven series - Aaron's Awakening is due for release in the next few months so I thought I'd give you an insight into how I see Aaron and his mate Cary. When I first started writing the series I didn't use any pictures as inspiration, the characters of Luke and Mark lived only in my head. I started to read other author's blogs and many of them admitted to using pictures to help them imagine their characters. For Aaron's story I trailed the net to find men who resembled the characters as I envisioned them and the pictures below are the closest I could find to my two lead men. Aaron had darker hair in the book but other than that the picture is pretty spot on. What do you think of my two leading men?
