Blood Ties

Hi everyone!

How have you all been doing? Well it's been raining non-stop here in Wales today, very dull and grey, but I have at least been productive with the writing and planning of my next couple of novels, so it's not all bad.

I'm going to share a new cover with you today. This one is for my upcoming vampire novel - Blood Ties which will be released August 1st.

And, I've just realised you wont see the outline because the background is white lol. Oh well, you get the idea. I really like this cover. It's different to the others, far more simple in design, but effective I think and perfect for the story I had in mind. Blood Ties was intended to be a short story, no longer than 15,000 words, but as the story unfolded I realised I couldn't do it justice in so few words so it has ended up much longer.

Here's the blurb:
Vampire prince Thomas Ward has been alone for over two hundred years - ever since the deathblow that killed his companion Jacob. For centuries, hunters have sought to eradicate his family’s royal lineage so that a rival family may gain control of their territory. But his life of self-imposed solitude came to an end a little over a year ago when Michael Alexander walked into his life. After months of refusal, Thomas finally gives in to Michael's request to change him even though he fears Michael will meet the same fate as Jacob.

With a possible eternity of happiness stretched out in front of them, can Thomas keep his lover safe or is history about to repeat itself?

Thanks for stopping by everyone and I hope you all have a great day!

    1. Hi Lily! Thank you! I know, I hate British weather! One week of sun followed by six weeks of rain no doubt. *sigh*

    1. Aww thank you Yvette! It's exactly what I wanted - something a little different from the norm.
